Top 10 World's Deadliest Earthquakes

Earthquakes!!! Why earthquakes happened all of a sudden? This is because of the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth's crust that creates seismic waves, causing a strong vibration on the area. Earthquakes struck anytime, and of course we don't see it coming. It's naturally "controlled" so that we might not be able to predict how or when the earthquake is going to happen. Some earthquakes might be more deadly if the Ritcher scale is higher.

Luckily earthquakes have never hit Malaysia before, but somehow there is a small vibration that we can feel here. So what do you think if you are standing right on the quake zone? I wonder how that feels. Whoa! SHOCKING! But I have never felt that shocking when earthquake strikes. Sometimes I had dreamed about myself in the '2012' scene. What the hell am I doing there? I had watched a giant wave marching towards me, and then I rapidly pop my eyes up. Sigh! Am I swallowed by the waves?

Here are the Top 10 World's Deadliest Earthquakes, but I still don't know why Indonesia is not in the list as the country gets hit by earthquakes for some time.

  2. i thought the disastrous level should be measured by the magnitude? Our Penang tsunami had higher magnitude than some of these earthquakes...lol

  4. @Eric: Penang is not as worst as the other place. We are lucky to be escaped from that disastrous earthquakes man!

@ohmywtf: It was just a fiction. Maybe you shouldn't think more about it and live your life to the fullest. :)

  5. Eric: the list is of deadliest earthquakes, so it is listed by the number of deaths rather than magnitude.
